For over 12 years, Big Room Sound’s J.R. Fountain has been working in the Toronto film and television industry moving up the ranks from assistant sound editor to sound editor/designer, and as a re-recording mixer. His work has been nominated for several awards including a Gemini (Canadian Emmys) and multiple Golden Reels (Motion Picture Sound Editors). In 2008 he shared in the Best Sound Design award from the Giant Screen Cinema Association for his work on the IMAX film “Wild Ocean 3D”.
